Theme: Achieving Literacy through Language and Literature



The world is turning, turning and turning. With its people learning and learning.In our world , there are lots of new discoveries that have been part of each and one of us. New discoveries, just facts and scientifically speaking its all about new life. But none of them was language. Language that would help our unfortunate people. Maybe some of our youth are overwhelmed with the advantage of technology, its great. But is this for life? Its hard to face the reality that, even you have it all, we can’t even tell that still, there were things that matters most, like language.

Whenever a wise person talks to a empty head man, its hard to communicate though both of them lived in the same country, speaking the same language, but then there’s something wrong and that is education. And its beyond control that a literate person out-stand the most. Because of lack of achieving literary its hard to communicate and sometimes to even share your ideas out loud .

A youth like us should focused on what is right. Its not about getting high grades all the time, achieving the highest grade the teacher could showered upon us. Its all about learning and sharing that all of us are created equally divided. But life as we know it was full of obstacles and again one of them is education that lead to improper communication. Our ancestors are great in speaking, their tradition that conquered the hearts and mind of those foreign occupation. Then, literature is one of the tradition we all see rise and fall. And because there are now fast paced technologies, youths can no longer see the true meaning of tradition- the idea of reading are left behind. With the idea of click, copy and save, in a glimpse of an eye, you can find what you are looking for. Thus, goodbye to the books we need to taste for once. We tend to be impertinent, because we made the authors believed in their point of view that students would appreciate the things they wrote.

Literature is very essential to everyone. From Shakespeare, Marlowe, Witt man up to Hugo, they were all instruments that used to be an inspiration of every living emerging writers of our time. The writers who can see beyond their reach the temple of perseverance. To keep on going, to write and then to fall all they can do is to face the reality that we have different standards in our lives. But there are still one thread that keep us together and that is communication and education. Education of a new life. Sometimes, its not just what degree your holding its all about the new life we can bring and share to everyone from different walks of life who are craving and thirsty of the thing we called literature. Its the literature that help us to stay on the big circle of life, to share our ideas to have them experienced it would mean a lot a definitely change for mankind.
