I cannot help but to think how I am going to spend the first day of 2010. And I do find the answers. We welcomed the New Year’s Eve with a bang! We are in one as the whole world celebrates it by their own way. Congratulations!
Let me do the recap.
We almost raid the supermarkets just to buy the materials needed for the preparation. And who would say that most of the Filipinos do experienced poverty? It has always been not true during this holiday season to somehow forget and escape the thing poverty for the sake of happiness. The culture of gift giving of foods is still there. Pinoy na Pinoy talaga. Our family dressed in green. There were no throwing of coins, instead we make noise like never before with the help of our torotot’s and even kalderos and it was fun! And my own way is by shouting out loud at the top of my voice. I will not forget that. The radio is on its highest volume. It must be really Happy New Year! With its deadly, safe and tumbling firecrackersI waited for the sunrise. I know that it sounds awkward. I almost tempted to even take a nap, but to wait for the thing I really want never stopped me. I never failed to see it. I feel good inside. The air captivates me. I cannot explain how I smile that morning. While the rest are on their joyful rest, I am rejoicing for the sunrise I see for the very first morning this 2010
I cannot explain how I feel. The last time I've waited for it was a very long time then. I even tell it to my sisters, my parents too.I know that my experience is not a big deal to others, but the way I've seen the very first sunrise for the year 2010 really made me feel good. I really don't want my day to end.Until I dreamed.
A very promising year. I must say.
