The Red Mark

Red symbolizes happiness.
It can be painful and even tragic.

It must be bloody red.
That is how I describe failing grade that would eventually reflect on my report card. Luckily, I have not received those red marks, because they are written in black. I do not know, way back elementary blues, I did not receive a written failing grade in red mark. Nevertheless, those two- digit numbers really made me crestfallen. Because at some point, I worked hard on that. At young age,I realized that there is such thing as failing grade (so much for the drama).

Back then, I find it hard to say that I have received a failing grade. It must be hard for me then. How I wished to stop the clicking of the clock and ta dah!Nothing happened. It must a challenge for me to tell it to my parents. I even day dreamed inside the classroom just to visualize the thing that might happened. With the power of longer acceptance and proper timing, I got the chance to say it. Gladly, they accepted it and I explained that I find it hard to work on that subject. Well I’ am not a genius student.

Everyone deserves a second chance.
I do believe in that. No matter how failure put us down.In all aspect of life,we sometimes failed to see the beauty of life. Because, we tend to focused to the idea of perfection. Thus, we must not. At the end of the day, we must stick to the idea of equilibrium. That is to live life in balance. Who knows, we might be a failure today but tomorrow will be as perfect as we ought to be.

I must say, understand those red marks, with open arms.
Appreciate its shaking and work on its reason.
